Lonely Lady
Today we did our monthly Wetlands bird survey. We saw good numbers of Mandarin Ducks, Mallard and Black Headed Gulls but nothing new. There was also a large flock of Bramblings but they were very mobile and high up in the trees. This is the third month we have seen this solitary female Goosander. I wonder if she's lonely, or enjoying the tranquility of the reservoir.
