Waiting and Watching

Today we met up with the home-ed group at Monikie Park where the children took part in the treetop rope course.

The high ropes course includes a 40ft climbing tower, with two climbing walls, abseil points, parachute jump, and an exhilarating 100 metre zip wire. They were all provided with climbing harnesses and helmets and are protected by belay ropes.

Other elements of the course include the leap of faith, Jacobs ladder, balance beams, high wire, crate stack and high all aboard.

Great fun was had by all, with the favourite being the 100m zip wire over the water and into the forest.

The adults spent most of the afternoon watching and waiting, but said next time we might join in too!! This flower caught my eye for today's blip while we were there.
