Bright and Beautiful

Dull day today, typical December weather, but surprisingly mild nevertheless.

At church this morning we had our usual nativity from the children.  I don't know if it is my sense of humour, but it get's funnier each year, there is always one sheep or angel or shepherd who 'escapes' and always a little know it all (usually a wee girl) ready to put things right.  Mary as usual was sweet, and Joseph looked embarrassed, as usual!  It was great.

We dug out the Christmas tree (I always put it up a week before Christmas), only to find that it has had it..... it was a fibre optic one, and has just died!  No shame to it, we have had it for a long long time.

We took a quick trip locally to try to find another, but will have to go further afield, so will try tomorrow.  However, the snow globes are in place, so all is not doom and gloom.
