Fourth Advent Sunday

I had a lazy Sunday morning and caught up with all the blippers I follow.  I loved seeing who has snow, who is travelling to family, what everyone is baking for the festive season.  
This afternoon we had a walk at the The Brook Waimarama Sanctuary.  It is the site of Nelson's first water supply.  A pest free fence has been put up and the sound of bird song was noticeable.  The walk follows the stream and past the waterworks and past a stone weir built in 1868.   Very pleasant.
