The Phoenix Centre

Our village Community Centre is a redevelopment of our old sports  club. This new building should have much more use than it has achieved after the great promise such a large investment seemed to offer the village. The development has been described as the best sports facility west of Swansea. This afternoon both rugby and football were being played and there were more people on the playing field than  were supporting them.The balcony stretches around 3 sides of the building and should be full with 2 matches taking place on a pleasant afternoon. If this centre is to serve the village as our Community Centre then the financial situation needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency.
