Reflections and light

This is the gorgeous swimming pool at Stobo Castle - an area of beautiful calming colours, patterns and light - where guests can exercise, take part in an aquafit session (supposedly also exercise, but more likely to result in hilarity!) or simply relax at the side of the pool and gaze out at the lovely scenery.

I must point out that I am here merely to assist a friend: to help Gill to feel that she really has retired from teaching by coming here for two nights the week the schools went back.

So far today we've done a Morning Stretch class and had a facial/full body massage, all before lunch, so we're exhausted, but might manage a short session in the gym and a swim this afternoon.

Okay, I admit it - it was my idea, but Gill thought it was a brilliant one!
