Mara by Christmas Light

Mara at River of Lights tonight. Taken at 6400 without a flash. She was totally bundled up in a snow suit that is supposed to be her size, but will probably fit her next year and maybe the year after. She looked like a little starfish and was about as mobile. She burbled happily for the whole 45 minutes we spent there. We only did about 1/3 of the walk because I wanted it to be a happy experience for her and so we stopped while she was still happy and warm.

Today I am thankful for the day I was given, Mara's smiles and friends.
