Poplar

A fun day out for us today. After a leisurely breakfast, we headed out on a train from Fenchurch Street towards the docklands. Swapping onto the DLR, we paused at Poplar station for the blip. Trundling on we made our way to Greenwich and the vibrant market there.

When it was time to head back we thought we'd take the Thames Clipper back up into town. This was mainly for sheer comedy value as it was so foggy you couldn't see the banks let alone the major landmarks. It was a fun trip though, the boat shoots along really fast. We went as far as the Houses of Parliment (see extra for the fog!).

Finally time to head home and a relaxing evening. Just what was needed after a hellish week.
