Mossy Bottom

Anyone who has followed our journal for a while will know that I (Annie) am ever so slightly obsessed by the large Shaun the Sheep and Gromit sculptures that appeared around Bristol in the summer and in 2013 respectively. The Shauns also branched out into London this year. Aside from being a fun sculpture trail, they were auctioned off in aid of Childrens hospitals.

The Bristol colleagues at my work did a summer's worth of fundraising (runs, cake sales, auctions of promises, etc.) and raised enough to buy this beautiful Shaun for the office. The auction money goes to the hospitals (and some left over to Children in Need) - but the beauty is that the statue is kept in trust, so if ever sold the sale money would also go the the childrens hospitals. Well done, Shaun - you're doing a great deed!

It was the first time I'd been in our Bristol office since he turned up, so he had to be the blip, even if I only had my iPhone with me. It made up for the traffic-delayed 6 hours I ended up spending commuting to and from the office! Finally back home to a quick dinner and a couple of blip-related jobs...

Sleep.
