Amendments - Updating the Year

I just realised that this entry went in on the date the photo was taken, back in 2008! Have copied and pasted the text, and hoiope to then delete the 2008 version!
Memories
I had a long list of chores to do today, and completed half of them. 

One of the jobs on the list was to download the photos from my iPad (sad lack of storage) onto the laptop. Our laptop was my mum's, bought around 2007/8. In the early days she would email and do some shopping online etc, but her greates joy for the years preceding Julia's death was the photos. We (Julia, Peter and I ) would send her a link to our albums and she was able to download them. 

Today, I plugged the iPad in, just clicked on 'yes' when it asked to save and then found hundreds of photos and of course memories from family days, holidays, christenings etc. 

My photo today is one I had never seen before of Julia, originally with Max (husband) beside her, but talking to someone else and not really necessary to the photo. Almost 5 years and I miss her every day, but today she has been at the forefront of my memories, as I also unpacked, listed and re packed the contents of several boxes of Mum's things we are sending to auction.
