Class 94

I started work at Leeds Castle way back in 1994, at a time when the castle and staff were undergoing great change. There were a total of 12 of us that started that year as Guides in the Castle. Some dropped out quite quickly and the following year a couple more came in to join our 'set'. There has been many years between then and now, and only 4 of us still work there , but 10 of us meet up every couple of months for lunch. we are not always the full 10 but over a few months we all get to catch up.

As the scheduled date was during my leave, and the pub we use very close to LC, I didn't really want to travel out and so invited them to my new house for lunch.

We had a lovely afternoon, the sun shone and we sat in the courtyard, all browning nicely as we chatted. No sign of yesterday's storms. Everyone brought something with them and I ended up with more wine that I started with, as most of them were driving.

Ended the day on the beach with Dog, as evidenced by photo, as I was so busy during the day I forgot to take any others.
