Moon To The Rescue!

Usually it's a tree or the tree lights that come to my rescue when I am short of a blip but today it's the moon (and some trees!) I'd just come back from evening shopping at the supermarket when I spotted the moon behind some trees and thought it was worth seeing what I could get. A lazy shot really because it is handheld when really I ought to have reached for the tripod. I used my zoom lens, so it is uncropped, although some adjustment in Lightroom to bring out some more of the detail on the moon's surface. I was amazed to see that, even before I had edited it, I could see the craters around the edge!
