Trapped

On my way to attend the blood-donor session, I passed this poor wee hoverfly Episyrphus balteatus caught in a web. The spider was only about the size of the fly's head, but was obviously undeterred by the size of the task in hand. Fierce!

When M returned from work (and also donating blood) I cooked us both steak with spinach; got to get that iron replenished :)
