Morning Light

There was a lovely sky this morning.
Of course, I wasn't in a position to go and get a decent shot of it and most of it had gone by the time I was out walking the dog.

I came across a line of purplish mushrooms at lunchtime - as if they were growing from a root of the Sycamore they were under. By the time they had opened up they were about 6" across - even the double stemmed one and were obviously quite popular with the wildlife.

The Cygnet wasn't feeling great today and so was off school.
This meant that walking the dog, shopping and taking Squirrel to gymnastics were all kind of up in the air (especially with SWMBO feeling below par too (too much time in an overheated house dealing with things relating to Bill's death).
It meant that I had to take Squirrel - but that meant I got to see some of the stuff that she does in her gymnastics class .... it is normally closed to adults but today we were invited in since it is nearly the end of the session.
Her balance and confidence is amazing - but she needs to practice some of her positional work.

The Cygnet was getting back to normal by the time we were leaving but was being kept off his martial arts to make sure he is back at school tomorrow for his party (he missed the panto today which was a shame).
