Three flags to the wind

We went to town for a haircut (G), new library books (me), and groceries.  The WBC this week is Flags, so I had a quick walk around to see what I could find.  These three flags hang outside the Tourist Information Centre.  From left to right:  the Tourist Information Centre flag, the Canadian flag, and the BC provincial flag.  I was hoping that the boat with the pirate flag would still be in the harbour.  It wasn't.
A few sunny cold days ahead, so the snow won't be melting.  Everything looked so beautiful on the drive to town.   Our road was quite icy in sections, but the main roads were fine.
