Why Worry?
This cheery mural is painted on the stone gable end of an old building purporting to be the home of witchery at the foot of Candlemaker Row. How this little girl equates with witchery I have no idea.
If I remember correctly, I once blipped a previous mural of a wizard on the same wall.
The devil makes work for idle hands or worry for Ladies who have the luxury of time to worry.
The current worry is where to buy the Christmas turkey and the trimmings.
M&S, Waitrose, or Lidl. I cannot decide, each one has its drawbacks and the thought of jostling with crowds of other hunter gatherers is making me anxious. I would prefer to preorder, but therein lies the problem since the stores allowing that facility do not have the range I want.
In downsizing to the Dower House, we also seem to have downsized the size of the freezer, such that a tub of ice cream, a nut roast , and a container of soup leaves no room for a frozen turkey should we go that way and avoid the crowds.
I know it is futile to worry about anything so trivial. As my dear old Dad used to say-It'll all be the same in a hundred years' time............maybe considerably less than that in my case.
