The Gold finch

Went to the SNG at the Mound, to see the tiny 17th century Dutch painting of a goldfinch.
Very nice too but I'd forgotten how lovely the old toilets are. They are built into the walls in the interior of the galleries and have narrow corridors which twist and are odd shapes. They have all been beautifully refurbished with dark wood, white marble and bottle green tiles. Worth a visit on their own.
The extra is the famous bird which is very nice too. It's only on view until the 18th December, so the last chance to see it is coming up.
