A fun day!

What a wonderful day I have enjoyed in spite of the rain!
Popped into town to do a few chores early today and met some friends for a quick coffee and chat; then off to do a few more jobs before another meeting and more coffee......Home for lunch and then was collected for a Christmas 'treat'.  Knew nought about this but was whisked away to have a full manicure! So now have lovely painted finger nails ready for the Christmas break. 
We then went off for tea and cake....Grand daughter enjoyed a hot chocolate with all the trimmings, but only managed half her Victoria Sponge cake - took the rest home for later.  
Wonderful way to spend a wet day.
