Muizenberg Beach

I went for a stunning walk along the beach this evening. The tide was low and the water amazingly warm. So lovely to walk and get my trousers wet below the knee. There were loads of sea birds - mainly flocks of gulls, oyster catchers and sandlings. A seal leisurely rolled and turned in the surf while the dogs frantically rolled on a dead seal carcass. Yuck.... smelly trip home. They no doubt think they smell wonderful.
I'm going to sleep well.
