Traditional...

Materialism and consumerism aka anything goes as long as it rakes in money.  I hate this part of modern life. How on earth can hot cross buns be "traditional" and also be on sale in November.  Why does everything have to have a price, why can there be no such thing as a free meal. What's happened to altruism and doing stuff for the joy of it and because you know how? If one considers how interdependent we all are then we have all contributed to everyone else's skills and good fortune so why should everyone also not benefit?  I know .... I'll head back to my cloud in cuckoo land.
