Charity ends at home
Back to work today, after my brief sojourn (had to look that up) on the sick. Spend the day writing a fascinating report on how we will connect up all our remote sites with coffee cans and bits of wet string once the current contract, kindly subsidised by the Scottish Government, expires. So nothing blippable there, then.
I was feeling a bit blank, by the time you've been to work, come home, made the tea, and collapsed in the chair, what more is there to be creative about. And then I remember my lunchtime trip to the ch****y shop. It occurs to me that this could be an unforseen blip-perk. I should always have a lovely pot in reserve, just in case I need an emergency blip. So now I'll have to go looking for another. That's perk, as in perquisite rather than prerequisite. Although a blip-prerequisite could work for me too. And don't bother suggesting that I could just blip the same pot from different angles, that just wouldn't be the same.
