Monkeying about
Arrghh.... I had just finished writing my commentary and was just about to hit PUBLISH, and you guessed it, the wifi failed. So here we go again.
Today was a full on day . We were picked up from our hotel at 10.30, well no it was actually 10.40. Our driver was the same lady from yesterday, and hubby had great fun teasing her about her tardiness. Our first stop today was a bird park, they do put on a show with some of the birds and I got to hold a Tucan and an Eagle, as did hubby. The birds are beautiful and very capable of flying. We then popped next door to the monkey show, they have three macaque monkeys who are trained, they even play games with you, a dice is put under a cup the cups moved about, hubby did that bit, I picked the wrong cup the monkey got it right first time. They explained that a monkey becomes part of the family and they are still used to pick coconuts. I got to hold this lovely boy, he was very gentle and the fur is very soft. We then went to see the Big Buddha, which is still under construction . Our last stop was to a Dolphin Show, we were initially a bit unsure about going, but our driver said that if we did not like the show she would give us our money back, she got to keep our money. It was a fabulous show with the dolphins and the trainers both performing amazing feats. It did show not only how intelligent dolphins are, but also how strong.
I didn't get any clear dolphin shots , which is why I have posted the monkey.
