Holding Court
Today was the last craft fair of the year.
So it was over the hills to Linlithgow.
Me kids used to love this road ....................Wheeeeeeeee - Can we do it again?
The weather was great - the clouds opened and let the sun clip the hill tops.
It also lit the clouds in a strange way.
Between the land and the sun rise there was the Fog On The Forth (not the same as the Fog On The Tyne).
Numbers at the fair were down (it has not been a great year) but I still had my best one (I always seem to do pretty well at Linlithgow).
When I got home I got a phone call from The Cygnet.
He had been at a grading day at his martial arts class and was going to be (hopefully) getting the last 'tabs' before going for his yellow belt in March.
But what he told me was he had broken a board with his hand .......... the last thing to do to get the next belt.
So he now is entitled to wear a yellow belt ...... 3 months before expected.
Well done Cygnet!
