Re-Vision: A Photo Journal

Perspectives & Reflections

Hannah & I got much-needed haircuts this afternoon. We went to a new salon, & it was the first time I had a guy do my hair. Since I wasn't referred, I got the first opening. I had about 6 inches cut, which feels strange but healthier. I would have liked Hannah's cut shorter, but it mostly needed layering & thinning, plus she likes to do braids & fun things with her hair. We have totally opposite hair texture, hers always takes much more effort. Wish I could borrow some of her thickness; she wishes hers was more thin & silky like mine. Guess it's always that way: you want what you don't have.

Took bunches of shots by the Butterfly Bush today, & had a tough time choosing one photo to post. I liked how this one is a less-traditional perspective.

Sometimes change is good for the soul. We need to shake things up, look at the world from a fresh view & gain a fresh reflection of ourselves, in turn!
