Before and After

Earlier this week I made a start on removing liverwort and other weeds from a shady bed planted with lots of Spring bulbs.  The frosty weather has put the work on hold for a few days but I'm very happy with the work so far.  Removing the liverwort involves lifting the top layer off the soil so I have replaced it with a nice mulch of humusy compost and bark.

A day of appointments for Jamie - Consultant, Hydrotherapy, X-Ray - plus shopping also for Jamie.  Choir sang at Worxham barns tonight which was a fun escape :-)
