The light ...

... on the Abbey Craig and Wallace Monument this afternoon was beautiful. I'd just been to the first switch on of the Riverside Living Advent Calendar. If any Blipper is interested Cameraman is going to record each one between now and 1st January 2017. The idea is Scandinavian and what's involved is that someone lights up a window in their house each day until - well in this case January 1st. Today it was the local day centre and the window was beautifully lit with snowflakes and other festive stuff. The school's taking two days and the rest are friends and neighbours. Ours isn't till 17/12 - it's all planned but secret! Our friend Fiona has worked hard to bring it all together and make a map of which day/which house will have the new window scene. And by New Year there will be 32 cheery windows lit to chase away the darkness.
