Minty's larder

Nothing I'm remotely pleased with today. This shiny beetle is perilously close to the orb weaver's larder where you can see some poor flies have come a cropper.
J. and M. called round this afternoon with a big crock of slightly salted gherkins. Gherkin season is upon us!
