3 Months of Building Work Completed

B and I enjoyed another walk around Holt Country Park this morning; a mixture of sunshine and light cloud.  Most of the leaves are off the trees now which has made the woodland floor very colourful.  The blip is of the heath land area which is going to look beautiful when all the heather is in flower and the gorse bushes bloom.
 Back home, M and I watched the qualifying for the last F1 Grand Prix of the season from Abu Dhabi. Then back to varnishing multiple coats on our 11 new internal doors...a job that will be ongoing for a while!  The construction work on converting our garage to a double bedroom en-suite has now been completed and after 3 months of builders in the house Monday to Friday, their job is done.  Now we have a lot of decorating to complete, and not just the newly converted area as we’ve had alterations carried out in other parts of the house and now almost all the rooms need a lot of cosmetic work. However,  I might consider a ‘lie in’ Monday, after months of being up and dressed  (and the kettle boiled) before 8am when the builders started their day.
