Contrasts

I took the main photograph of the field down the lane early this morning before going for a run on the treadmill. There is a little lost teddy bear sat on the gatepost. 

The sun eventually broke through the cloud treating us to warm sunshine.

It was a different story down in the bottom of the Calder Valley where freezing fog lingered throughout the day (see extra -looking down the valley towards Brighouse).

I nipped down Halifax to pick up a parcel and do some food shopping. The place was heaving as there was a Christmas Market at the Woolshops and entertainment in advance of this afternoon's big switch on of the Christmas lights.

I took the second extra from the top of the lane at around 3:30 pm.
