FRC November 2016

I had a trip to the bridge today after doing some work at mum’s house.  With the night’s drawing in I decided to get some pictures of the rail bridge and old road bridge before heading to get this shot of the new bridge at sunset.
 
They only have one gap left to join and we can now see the profile of the whole structure as it will be when complete.  The special wind breaks that will be a feature of the new bridge are currently being installed on the approach roads.
 
The only down side of my little photography trip was the freezing cold weather.  Extra today is the 19th century rail bridge.
