PC3000

I had a trip up to the opencast this morning to see how the restoration work was going.  Also to get some shots of the hills all covered in frost and snow.  It was a very crisp morning again.
 
Came across a group of guys jump starting this Komatsu PC3000 with the aid of the bulldozer you can see on the right of the shot.  This really is a case of big boys toys.  Wonder if I asked nice if they would let me have a shot of it.
 
Well thanks to machines like this the restoration work is going well and a lot of the area is now being grassed over after the holes have been filled in.
