I'm watching

Friday 25th Nov 2016 (1553)

A day of five parts.

1 - Tidy up the debris from last night's party!

2 - Work visit

3 - It was a glorious day but I still can't walk far so I decided to treat myself to a trip to Knowsley Safari Park. I haven't been since 2008 and in effect it is only "next door". I thoroughly enjoyed my safari drive and found it relaxing and therapeutic. I enjoyed stopping and watching some of the animals. Very few people on the drive so there was time to stop. The lion enclosure was the best. The lions were quite active and close to, and even on, the road. One did come rather close to my driver's window and my heart was racing a bit. The camels were funny and blocked the road for a good ten minutes, two of them stood front and back of the car in front of me and a third laid down in the middle of the road completely trapping us.

I finished the drive just in time to go to see the Sea lions show and then I repeated the safari drive, although this time the lions were having a nap. I decided to take out an annual membership so you will probably see more animal blips.   Two extras today.

4 - Time to do some more work in preparation for a service tomorrow.

5 - I am going out to the theatre this evening (on my own). I don't quite know what to expect but it sounds intriguing. I'm going to see "Scouse: a comedy of terrors" where Liverpool gains independence from England, Westminster and the Crown.  Rather fascinating in a post Brexit UK, especially as the play was written 20 years ago!
