6 Spot Burnet Moth on Ragwort

After more rain this morning the sun came out. I decided to go over to gwithian nature reserve as it is only 10 mins. away from me.

After many visits this year and only seeing very few butterflies and moths today as I strolled through the reserve there they were, very busy from flower to flower. After the cool weather we have been having it was very hot this afternoon. I found it very relaxing wondering around and witnessing all that was around me and trying to capture the moment.

I have picked the 6 spot burnet moth as there were so many today, although it is shows it on the ragwort, I do not like this plant as it is so dangerous for horses and cattle.
