Brighton Palace Pier
I had a lazy morning after last night's party, and then this afternoon I went out with Alison and Chrissy for a walk. Alison wanted to find more of the Snowdogs before they disappear this weekend, so we parked at the marina and walked along the seafront to the bandstand, stopping for a hot chocolate and a slice of cake. It's still very windy, but it's coming from the north now, so the sea is much calmer than it was at the weekend.
We walked about 5 miles in total and it was dark by the time we got back to the car, but it was nice the see the pier at dusk. The pier was originally called Palace Pier, but since 2000 has been known as Brighton Pier. However, most locals still refer to it as Palace Pier and it was announced earlier this year that the owners are going to reinstate it and it will be known as Brighton Palace Pier. I'm not sure when the signage will change though, I think they're planning a new logo.
Bobbie and Milou came with us on our walk and I've added an extra of them with the 'Seagulls of the South' Snowdog. They enjoyed themselves, but they haven't moved all night, I think we've completely worn them out!
