Working into the night

Farmerboy received a phonecall from the contractor who is planting our maize, to say he would be arriving at midnight to start drilling the seed into the ground.  Unfortunately Farmerboy, who would normally be in bed at that time of night (due to having to get up to milk at 4.40am) has to stay up until he arrives to give him the maize seed.  We had a trip in the dark up to the shed to get the fertilizer organised, which gets planted with the seed.

So I'm off to bed, while poor Farmerboy is sitting in the lounge waiting....waiting.....waiting for the contractor to arrive.  He's going to be one very tired man tomorrow.
