Up the lane

This is the view up the lane where I used to live and where I went to pick up my ex-next door neighbour and friend for over 35 years -  She and her husband still live there but their young family, like mine,  are now all grown up and left to make lives of their own in far flung areas of the UK, and beyond.

Friend and I went to the local Garden Centre and the HobbyCraft there to have a mooch, get some last minute ideas and purchase our last bits and pieces for the ever encroaching Christmas Fair we're doing.  I've decided to spare you a picture of the Garden Centre in full swing for the forthcoming festive season!
