It is my friend Jane's 56th birthday today (that means I shall be 56 on my next birthday)  

Jane and I met on our induction day for senior school. Although we now live miles apart, we are still firm friends. We are standing next to each other in this 1977 photo I found on Facebook.

Also, in this photo are a few boys I've snogged (!!), a couple of (now) doctors, a dentist, a TV actor, a playwright, an alcoholic, a physiotherapist, a property tycoon, a sudden death (poor Karen), the victim of murder (poor Debra), a love triangle (the art teacher, the games teacher and 16th year old Diane) etc, etc, etc.....

My boss is back so I am no longer in charge at work (Hurrah!!)
