London Saturday

We are visiting our middle child in London this weekend.

In the afternoon we went to an "off West End" theatre and saw American Idiot. The plot follows 3 young men for the year following 9/11. It was full on. Sex, drugs, war and violence all to the music of the American rock band Green Day.  Mmmm - it was very different. 

We then soaked up the very Christmassy atmosphere of Covent Garden!

Later we walked across the river to the South Bank where the Christmas markets were in full swing.

As we passed the Royal Festival Hall, Florence was surprised to see a massive photo of Billy Trevitt and Michael Nunn - the people she works for!

Dinner in Bills and then home to Caramel Chew ice cream and bed.

A good day was had by all (apart from the owners of the motorbikes on the end!!)
