Yes, this is a very welcome watermelon on the couch. I had some rather frustrating news today and my Nanna went out and got me a watermelon (even though they are like gold right now).

I have had my ocean swim and now some good watermelon. It's starting to feel more and more like summer, but it is getting so close to fall!

Mom didn't want to cut the watermelon, as the fridge is taken up with kale and carrots for the guinea pigs. I insisted on it, so the watermelon was evicted from the couch, washed, and had a 1/4 sliced off. Did I mention that if I was stranded on a desert island and could only choose a few foods to have, that I would have watermelon? Mmmm!
