It's a wrap!
Well up at the crack of dawn and out filming on Islay. At some points our dialogue was almost inaudible due to the cackling of at least 1000 bloody geese flying overheard as we started filming at the RSPB reserve and had obviously disturbed their beauty sleep! The second location with the quad bike & Jock the dog sans shepherd was easier and quieter at least!
By Scene 3 at the boat shed the temp had dropped to minus 1 and we were in the shadow and it was Baltic. Scenes 4 & 5 involved much driving up & down a hill and the boarding of the Calmac ferry. The Calmac crew were good enough to hold the foot boarding passengers up while we shot the last few scenes and it was in the can.
A lovely crowd to work with. The sunset on the ferry home was spectacular to say the least. A good day in all.
