Far Too Early

We were meeting two other couples for breakfast at the garden center for breakfast at 10am this morning.
We arrived and the place was heaving!
There were parking attendants in the car park, cars parked on the entrance road and a man at the entrance gate.
It turns out "Santa" was due to arrive at 11am.
So we parked and when the others arrived within a couple of minutes - we left and went elsewhere.
The breakfast wasn't as good, but it was quiet and there was no hour long queue.

The rest of the day has been spent hiding in the livingroom to stay warm..........it has been cold and damp.
