Our lovely Jim!

I was going to call this blip the old and the new but I didn't want anyone to think I was referring to our lovely organist Jim.
He has great musicality and is fun too and we wouldn't want to be without him, but today saw the first use of our new sound system. The controls can be seen here on the left looking akin to a space age oven!

The congregation contributed to this on a gift day last month and the considerable amount needed was exceeded. Just over a month and it is now installed. It worked well today so fingers crossed it continues to do so.

I just wanted to show the contrast today between this 'magic' box that is the new and our church organ now well over 100 years old. The system can play music as well as provide aural magnification for the congregation but nothing can improve on Jim.
