Skye Sunset
We explored a good bit of Skye today. We made an abortive attempt to see the Old Man of Storr, but the cloud level was just too low, and we abandoned the walk at the top of the forest path. We were afforded a brief glimpse of it later from near Elishader.
A walk around Portree was rewarded by meeting an old friend who now lives there. Then we drove to Glen Brittle, a part of Skye I had never visited.
The combination of sea lochs and soaring mountains is unbeatable. Perhaps the coming and going of the clouds makes it even more enticing.
After supper, I braved the midges (no small feat, I can tell you) to take some pictures from Lower Breakish. This is looking across Broadford Bay towards (I think) Glamaig.
