A slice of Lesley's life

Autumn days

It's the only way for sanity. I spent too much of this morning being cross about a letter from the Prof to our GP. I won't go over it in an attempt to not make myself cross again but needless to say we are not impressed. A reply has been drafted which I think helped with dissipating the cross ness.

As did the distraction of having my ass royally whooped by the boy at table tennis. And a fabulous walk with this lovely creature through Chiswick House gardens. It is really quite glorious in autumn.

The afternoon was a lot of fun as, in between feeding and watering the troops and taking and fetching Anna from a dance class and some present shopping, we managed to meet up with one of Carl's oldest friends and his new girlfriend. They live up north and we haven't seen him in ages. It was like it was yesterday and very good for us both.

Home for a fun evening watching The Secret Life of Pets.

Overall quite a jolly Saturday.
