Reflections

As the sun sets on another Ash4Sej adventure, Mr J & I have been enjoying beach life & reflecting on what has been a lovely time together & occasionally apart.

The people of Oman have been very generous & hospitable.

For me personally, I have also connected with my family history - my great grandfather came here at the turn of the twentieth century and was involved in shipping between here & India right until the 1920's.

I hope the Arabian people & seas were as kind to him as they have been to us.

Also here's a toast to the Omani King celebrating his 76th birthday today.
