Reflected Dawn

A rather more colourful and traditionally 'me' blip today! I got up for sunrise and, although I didn't actually see it rise, on account of the clouds, it was still rather lovely - especially when reflected in the river. I was the first one there this morning (ahead of the dog walkers), so I was treated to the sight of a grey heron standing fishing, a little egret, a variety of ducks, some cormorants and, best of all, a kingfisher who was looking for his breakfast! So lovely to be able to see the birdlife beginning their day!
