Boat Noodle Alley
For lunch I tried Yentafo for the first time. It's an amazing noodle soup with a delicious broth which is pink from the fermented soy beans. Whilst reading about it, I also learnt about Boat Noodles and saw lots of references to Boat Noodle Alley, an area near the transport hub at Victory Monument, specialising in a dish named because it was originally cooked and sold from boats in Bangkok's canals.
I took a trip there in the evening. For 10B each, you get small bowls of delicious noodles with your meat of choice. It seems like most people would eat between three and six bowls.
Both noodle soups were incredible and up there with the best food I've had in Thailand.
