El desierto

Quite pleased to leave Benidorm behind us, we continued the journey south and eventually managed to escape the humidity. We stopped at the desert just north of Almeria where apparently lots of wild west cowboy movies were filmed. It was a longer but more picturesque drive with lots of dramatic arid landscapes. Finally arrived at our destination very late after catching a bit of the closing ceremony on Spanish TV in a bar.
