Let It Wash Our Cares Away

Oh what to do, when the sun is shining and photo opportunities abound.

I have barely moved from the one spot in the garden and yes, the grass is damp and my clothes and bum are wet but I'm quite contented.

Snuggled behind our toppled tree was this mass of diamonds glistening in the sunshine, but only two feet away was the biggest spider in the garden, and she tolerated me splashing water on it to try and make her sparkly too. It didn't but she did drink the droplets.

Beau Bear was comfortable in the shade and was squeaking to me as I lay in the grass beside her. She lays there, under the tree beside the fence to wind up the doggie next door. She never moves, and the poor pup next door is turning cartwheels trying to get at her.

The apple tree which was almost killed by the rain and wind last May (2011) is producing bountiful amounts of fruit this year, but I thought this one hanging against the trunk was almost perfect in it's positioning.

As I moved around on the grass, this little chap caught my eye. I watched him for a while as he traversed probably the equivalent of 2 miles to us, and then settle on the same leylandi as the big chappie up above. I do hope he doesn't get eaten.

I thought I would stop then, because I was over loading myself with choices; I'm going to go out now, and find something else aren't I?
