Scone success

It's hard to believe, but in all my years, I have never made scones. They are just so cheap to buy I suppose. Anyway, impressed by my friend's date scones, I had a go and this was the result. The trouble is, I am now trying to resist eating  too many of them as they tasted as good as they looked...
